However, in the 16th century, the Scottish Earl of Atholl prepared a luxurious camping experience in the Scottish Highlands for King James V and his mother who were visiting the area! Some people could say he was one of the first to introduce glamping to Scotland.

You will be only a 20-minute drive from Loch Laggan and there are plenty of things to do in the local area. Loch Laggan is a freshwater loch that once appeared in featured in the popular BBC series Monarch of the Glen as Glenbogle.
